Coffs Coast Little Athletics is a vibrant and inclusive sports club located in Coffs Harbour, NSW. With a focus on Family, Fun, and Fitness, the club offers a range of athletic programmes for children aged 3–17 years old. From Tiny Tots (3-5 year olds) to under 17s, there is something for every child to get involved in.
The club provides opportunities for children to participate in a variety of running, jumping, throwing, and walking events. These events not only develop their athletic skills but also promote teamwork, perseverance, and a love for sport. From sprints to hurdles, long jump to shot put, children can discover and excel in their preferred events.
In addition to the Little Athletics programme, Coffs Coast Athletics also offers programmes for Senior Members through the Coffs Harbour Track & Field Club. So not only can kids enjoy the thrill of athletic competition, but the whole family can get involved and participate in a sport they love.
The 2023/24 season will be held at Toormina Oval while works are completed at the club's new facility at York Street in Coffs Harbour. This temporary venue ensures that the club can continue to provide a safe and supportive environment for children to grow and develop their athletic abilities.
Coffs Coast Little Athletics also has a proud tradition of success, with athletes regularly competing in representative competitions. The Zone Championship is the first step for individuals to showcase their talents and potentially qualify for the Little Athletics State Championships. Athletes aged U7-U17 have the opportunity to compete and represent their centre.
The club also offers various classes for those looking for a more focused and intensive training experience. The Fast Track Feet Athletics Squad provides additional coaching and skill development opportunities for athletes who want to take their abilities to the next level.
Throughout the season, Coffs Coast Little Athletics hosts a range of exciting events, including club nights, zone championships, and even national-qualifying competitions. These events not only provide a chance for athletes to showcase their skills but also foster a sense of community and camaraderie among club members.
