Claremont Junior Football Club runs an AFL Auskick programme for boys and girls, aged 5 to 8 years, Pre-Primary to year 3. Auskick kicks off at 9am Sunday mornings at College Park.
The Auskick programme provides a great introduction to Aussie Rules and the platform for future seasons of weekly home and away footy from our year 4 teams and above. For Auskickers in year 3, Super 8s Rulz is played, with a home or away match against other year 3 teams in the district run every second week.
Weekly sessions are run by age-group coaches and comprise a structured skills training component, followed by intra-club modified rules games, with an emphasis on fun and inclusion of all players.
Our Auskick programme is headed up by former Greater Western Sydney footballer Don Harley, who oversees his team of enthusiastic volunteer coaches who front up bright and early each Sunday for a morning of skills, sausage sizzles and fun!
