Social play bookings are available throughout the week, with Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays reserved for members and non-members. Non-members can also book tee times on Tuesdays and Thursdays after 12 noon. However, please note that the course is closed for members' competition every Saturday until 3 PM. Non-members can play after 3 PM, and an unlimited play option is available for $15.

To maintain the club's atmosphere, a dress code is in place. Members, guests, and visitors are expected to wear smart casual golf attire, including collared shirts. Tracksuit pants, singlets, work boots, beachwear, thongs, and board shorts are not accepted.

The club's history is deeply intertwined with the HMAS Cerberus Naval Base. Over the years, the golf course has undergone several developments and relocations. It began near the West Gate in 1921, then moved to various locations until finding its current home after the Second World War. The course's construction and maintenance have been carried out by dedicated volunteers and personnel.
