The Club was established in 1970 in the Calliope township, which is located in Central Queensland, about 29 km south of Gladstone. The Club has a well-kept 18 hole championship golf course with 18 excellent grass greens. We have competitions on Wednesday (open to members with an AGU handicap). Thursday Ladies and Veterans Saturday and Sunday (open to ladies and men).
The Juniors play Sunday mornings. The Club also has a bowling green that is used for social events.
