Cairns Surf Life Saving Club

Cairns Surf Life Saving Club is a historic sports club located in Cairns, Queensland. Founded in 1924, it is one of the oldest Surf Life Saving clubs in the state and was initially established as a volunteer organisation to patrol the Northern Beaches of Cairns. The club began its patrols on the Cairns Esplanade before relocating to Yorkey’s Knob. In 1953, the club settled at its current location at the Northern end of Palm Cove.
