Bribie Island Croquet Club is a “family” of over 50 regular players of all four croquet disciplines with many members playing two or three times a week. Our members range from “social” players only to players who represent Queensland in State & national competitions. Enjoyment of the game, coaching and skill building are an integral part of our club’s ethos. Throughout the year our club is visited by many interstate players who have Bribie Club as a ‘must’ on their itinerary. The club hosts friendly interclub social Gala Days and tournaments as well as club only functions. At the base of this page is a list of any upcoming event. Our members are friendly, welcoming and enjoy sharing their knowledge and love of this sport. Coaching is readily available for anyone who is interested in exploring this multi faceted sport which stimulates your mind and provides exercise at the same time. Croquet is a sport that the whole family can play and enjoy together. 2015 is an exciting year for our club. “The Island Challenge” – A major tournament, the first of its kind in the Moreton Bay Region, is scheduled over various weekends from February to May. “The Island Challenge” will cover Association Croquet, Ricochet, Golf Croquet and Gateball and the schedule of events will cater for all levels of abilities. “The Island Challenge” is open to all ACA registered (or affiliated) croquet players in Australia. The winner of each event will receive prize money of $300.00.
