Boroondara Eagles Football Club (BEFC) is a family-focused sports club based in Melbourne's inner eastern suburbs. With over 850 female and male players, BEFC caters to a wide range of age groups, including MiniEagles groups (Under 5 to 8), MiniRoos teams (Under 8 to 11), Junior teams (Under 12 to 21), and Senior Women and Men, including Girls only teams. The club's goal is to help all players develop their skills while enjoying success in their football careers.
Established in 2008, BEFC prides itself on being inclusive and welcoming to everyone, regardless of their background. However, due to the high demand, places are limited. The club is fortunate to have excellent facilities at its two home grounds: Macleay Park and Stradbroke Park. These venues provide a great environment for training, matches, and social gatherings.
BEFC is committed to providing top-quality coaching for all players. They believe that with the right guidance and support, players can reach their full potential and achieve success both on and off the field. The club actively encourages its members to participate in trials and expression of interest programmes, such as the Girls Junior premier League and Boys Junior leading League trials, to further enhance their skills and compete at higher levels.
In addition to regular football programmes, BEFC offers a Futsal Intensive programme designed to support anyone currently playing or interested in futsal. This exciting initiative aims to develop players' skills and knowledge of the game in a focused and intensive environment.
For those aspiring to compete at the highest level, BEFC offers opportunities to join their NPL3 squads for both male and female players. Expressions of Interest are invited for the NPL 21s & Seniors and NPLW 19s & Seniors trials, where talented players can showcase their abilities and potentially represent the club in these prestigious leagues.
