Boccia WA was incorporated in June 2013, following significant development of the sport, thanks to Boccia Australia’s community engagement programme and support from the Australian Paralympic Committee and the West Australian Department of Sport and Recreation.
Hubs are being developed across the metropolitan area, with players able to attend weekly sessions with a coach.
Boccia WA oversees the competition programmes, including the State Titles, Pairs and Teams events.
The association also coordinates the state representative team to compete at the Boccia Australia National Championships.
Boccia WA has a committee of volunteers, assisting with the daily administration and operations of the association, including the coordination of the State Squad.
