As part of the prestigious Royce Gracie Network, we are the official representatives of UFC Hall of Fame Champion Prof. Royce Gracie in Newcastle. Our academy offers the same techniques taught at the renowned Gracie Academy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
These techniques are now being taught to elite military and law enforcement agencies worldwide, including the U. S. Army, FBI, Navy SEALs, and Secret Service, making us a trusted source for mastering self-defence.

Leading our academy is Luke Beston, our Head Instructor and a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu under Prof. Royce Gracie. Luke's vast martial arts experience spans over 25 years, and he holds numerous ranks and teaching certifications for self-defence and fighting systems. He was awarded his Black Belt in 2005 by Gracie Academy head instructors Prof.
Royler Gracie, Prof. Rolker Gracie, and Gracie Sydney head instructor Prof. Bruno Panno.
Our multi-level training facility boasts a spacious area for both standing and ground techniques. Additionally, our academy features a Boxing/MMA cage, boxing bags and pads, free weights and kettlebells, and imitation weaponry for practising self-defence. We also provide separate men's and women's bathrooms and change areas. To ensure the safety of our members, all training areas and equipment are thoroughly sanitised before and after each session.
We offer a comprehensive class timetable to accommodate individuals with varying schedules. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced practitioner, there are classes suited to your skill level. From Jiu Jitsu (Gi and No Gi) to Kids Jiu Jitsu and Open Mat sessions, there is something for everyone. We encourage new members to take advantage of our first week FREE trial, and we kindly request arriving 15 minutes early for the first class.
At Beston Gracie Jiu Jitsu, we offer competitive pricing options for adult and kids' classes. For adult classes, you can choose between a 2 Days per Week package for $155 per month or an Unlimited Days per Week package for $185 per month. Our kids' classes offer a 1 Day per Week package for $95 per month or a 2 Days per Week package for $125 per month.
