Belmont Masters Swimming

Belmont Masters Swimming Club, located in Perth, is a sports club that caters to adults aged 18 years and above. The club was established in 1983 and is one of the 37 Masters Swimming Clubs in Western Australia. With a membership of over 40 individuals, Belmont Masters promotes fitness, friendship, and fun through regular swimming activities.

As a member of the club, individuals gain access to a variety of benefits. This includes squad training sessions, social events, open water swims, and pool competitions at local, state, national, and even international levels. The club also organises endurance sessions on selected Sundays each month. Training sessions take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, Fridays from 7am to 8am, and monthly endurance sessions on Sundays starting from 8:30am (excluding public holidays).

Belmont Masters Swimming Club is affiliated with Masters Swimming WA, which was established in 1977. Masters Swimming WA is in turn affiliated with Masters Swimming Australia and is part of the worldwide Masters Swimming movement. There are more than 1500 members across 37 clubs in Western Australia, with ages ranging from 18 to 95 years. Masters clubs cater to individuals of diverse swimming capabilities, ranging from beginners to world record holders.

They provide members with opportunities for skills development, training, and participation in pool and open water competitions. Members can also engage in coaching, officiating, and administration roles and even obtain recognised skills and qualifications in these areas.

Belmont Masters Swimming Club encourages new members to join and enjoy the benefits of fitness, friendship, and fun.
