Belen Silva, based in Sydney, is a highly experienced Tango dancer, teacher, and choreographer with a deep passion for the art form. Born in Avellaneda, she began her Tango journey at a young age and studied with renowned Technique Tango Teachers such as Elina Roldan, Guillermina Quiroga, Aurora Lubiz, Elina Ruiz, and Paula Rubin.

However, it was Alejandra Arrue who became her mentor and biggest influence. Belen served as Arrue's assistant in various prestigious venues in Buenos Aires, including the Centre “Cultural Konex”, Milonga “La Nacional”, “Cachirulo”, and the Festival de Tango de Buenos Aires. She has also worked in Japan and is now based in Australia, where she continues to teach, dance, and choreograph.

Belen's expertise and talent have led her to work in the most prestigious shows in Buenos Aires, where she has developed her very own Tango style. In Australia, she was the Director and Founder of the Made In Argentina Festival, the first Cultural Festival of its kind. The festival showcased the talent of Argentinean and Australian artists and received great success, with a sold-out show titled “The Red Rose” in both Sydney and Newcastle.

One of Belen's greatest joys is teaching Tango and sharing her knowledge and passion with her students. Her classes focus on achieving quality and subtlety of movement through practical and simple techniques. She emphasises the importance of natural and conscious movement, both for individual dancers and for couples on the dance floor.

The lessons include short videos and recorded lessons week by week. Additionally, every month, a new short choreography is introduced, with a focus on footwork and musicality.
