Beecroft Public School has an enviable record of outstanding sporting achievement, providing opportunities for performance from entry to elite levels.
Sport and physical activity is a valued part of our school's curriculum. Our inclusive culture means that all of our students take part in sporting programmes with enthusiasm and enjoyment.
The comprehensive programme is designed to foster students' appreciation and commitment to team membership as well as recognise the value of leading an active lifestyle to enhance their physical, social and mental wellbeing.
Our Students in Year 6 compete against schools in the local area. Soccer, netball, Oztag and softball are played in the Beecroft Primary Schools Sports Association competition (PSSA). These sports are also played in state-wide knockout competitions, along with touch football and basketball.
Students also have the opportunity to compete in Athletic, Swimming, and Cross Country carnivals. These carnivals allow those students who are performing at an elite level to represent Beecroft in Zone, Area, State and National competitions.
