Altitude Martial Arts & Fitness

We are a typical, fun-loving and busy husband and wife super-duo with three children (new pic coming! ) We are passionate about delivering a variety of fitness & martial arts classes to the families in our community.

Altitude Fitness & Martial Arts was born when we finally pushed our two skill sets together after over 10 years of operating seperately. Our dream was to create a one stop shop for families to have access to small group fitness and Taekwondo classes within a fun, supportive and community based atmosphere. We are particularly passionate about supporting families in a flexible, friendly and motivating environment.

Brett has been teaching and involved with Taekwondo for over 15 years, competing locally, nationally and internationally. Eventually after a bit of persuasion, Jess jumped on board to help teach in 2014 and hasn't looked back! Brett believes in real world self-defence skills, and creating an engaging yet challenging environment to help develop his students skills in Taekwondo as well as build their resilience and character for the outside world.

Jess has been part of the fitness industry for over 10 years, having 3 gorgeous kiddlets in between. Over this time, Jess has studied and developed her knowledge and skills into caring for women post-partum, and how they can be safely reintroduced back into exercise, which has led to the fruition of the Mum Strong programme.

Supporting small business helps build a strong community, a value that is close to our hearts. We enjoy hearing about other families and their businesses too and encourage you to drop your details into the gym to get your name out there!

We love meeting new families from all walks of life and enjoy running AFMA with a bit of an 'old school' feel.
