Despite setbacks during the Yi Dynasty and Japanese occupation, the practise of Tae-Kyon, now known as Taekwondo, was revived after Korea's liberation. The seed of Taekwondo was planted in the 60s, with South Australia being one of the first regions to embrace the art.
