Volleyball Queensland is thrilled to announce the upcoming 2024 Intermediate Schools Cup, a lively volleyball extravaganza for high school students in year 9 and 10. This event is the perfect opportunity for young athletes of all skill levels to come together and showcase their passion for the sport.
Taking place across various venues in Gold Coast, such as Coomera Indoor Sports Centre, Gold Coast Sport and Leisure Centre, Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium, and AB Paterson College, the competition features divisions tailored for Year 9, Year 10, Year 9 Honours, and Year 10 Honours teams.
Team nominations are set to kick off on Thursday, 7th March with entries closing on Thursday, 16th May. Make sure to mark your calendars, as team lists are due by Thursday, 23rd May. The schedule will be released on Monday, 27th May, so teams can plan their weekend accordingly.
Remember, all team members must be in the specified year level or below and must also be current financial members of VQ. Matches will run from 10 am on Friday till 4 pm on Sunday, requiring teams to be available throughout the weekend.
