Our founder, Nella, was the first-ever Zumba instructor in Australia and has been teaching since 2008. Her passion for Zumba has taken her to various locations around the world, including the Indian Himalayas, Kuala Lumpur, Thailand, and Russian Retreats. Nella has also inspired others to teach the programme and has added her own philosophy of life called “Move in Joy” to her classes.

So, what is Move in Joy with Zumba? It's all about integrating physical movement with joy for the human experience and a sense of connexion to something bigger than yourself. We use Zumba as one of the physical movements, which is a fusion of exhilarating dance moves set to high-energy Latin-style music.
