Welcome to Zec Lavigne, managed by the Lavigne Hunting and Fishing Association. Located in Saint-Znon, Quebec, this Controlled Harvesting Zone boasts a diverse and plentiful wildlife territory of 176 lakes, just an hour from Joliette and two hours from Montreal. Encompassing 406 square kilometers with a network of 150 kilometers of roads, Zec Lavigne is one of the most frequented Zecs per square kilometer in Quebec.
In addition to traditional hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities, Zec Lavigne offers over 40 camping sites with 340 spots, 40 kilometers of marked hiking trails, and 15 European-style chalet rentals in the Saint-Znon sector. Accessible via three welcome stations in the surrounding municipalities of Saint-Cme, Saint-Znon, and Saint-Michel-des-Saints, as well as a self-registration kiosk in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, the Zec is funded by user fees for various activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, and more.
Visitors can explore the Zec through a variety of activities and amenities, all while enjoying the natural beauty of the area. From observing wildlife to fishing for trout, pike, grayling, and more in the lakes and rivers, there is something for every outdoor enthusiast at Zec Lavigne.
