Welcome to Yowani Bowls Club, Canberra's friendliest bowling club. Located near the intersection of Northbourne Avenue and the Barton Highway, Yowani offers a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for bowlers of all levels. Situated overlooking the picturesque tree-lined fairways of the Yowani golf course, it provides a stunning backdrop for your bowling experience.

Yowani boasts three couch greens, all equipped with sun shading and seating at each end. The greens are also equipped with lights, allowing for nighttime play. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced bowler, Yowani offers coaching clinics on Sunday mornings during the warmer months. These clinics are a fantastic way for aspiring bowlers to get started or further develop their skills.

In addition to regular bowling activities, Yowani also organises various events and competitions throughout the year. One popular event is the Thursday Night Twilight Bowls, held from October to March. These fun and social evenings are open to all and require no prior experience. Help is provided, and it's a great opportunity to meet new people and enjoy a friendly game of lawn bowls.

For those seeking more competitive bowling, Yowani offers tournaments such as the Bink Pavers Open Pairs Shootout. With a prize pool of $1,260. 00, this is a fantastic opportunity to test your skills and potentially walk away a winner. Yowani Bowls Club has a proud history of success, with the Yowani Team recently claiming the ACT 2023 Men's Over 60s Fours Championship. Congratulations to George Veitch (Second), Bane Ratajkosky (Lead), David Mitchell (Third), and Trever Hegan (Skip) for their outstanding achievement. Yowani bowler Darren Peak also represented the club in the ACT Champion of Champions Men's Singles Final, displaying exceptional skill and dedication.
