Young Gloves Karate, led by Martin, is a well-established martial arts school serving Kidderminster, Stourport, Stourbridge, and Bewdley since 1999. As a family-run club, they focus on providing a safe and friendly place for everyone to train, with qualified and CRB-checked instructors.
Martin's school offers a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. These sessions aim to improve coordination, concentration, balance, discipline, fitness, self-defence, and overall health. Whether you're just starting out or have been practising for years, there's a class for you.
Young Gloves Karate welcomes kids as young as 5 and adults up to 70 who want to try something new. In today's world, learning self-defence skills and martial arts, while keeping fit and making new friends, is more important than ever.
For those interested in a high-energy workout, Martin also offers boxercise classes every Wednesday evening from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Franche School. These sessions are open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or fitness level, allowing participants to train at their own pace, with all equipment provided.
Martin organises a range of events throughout the year, including gradings, courses, charity events, competitions, and parties.
