York Centre Karate is a karate school and physical fitness program located in Toronto. Our programs are set to resume in September 2023 at two convenient locations, Earl Bales CC and Herbert H. Carnegie Centennial Centre. We are thrilled to welcome new members to our classes and encourage anyone interested to reach out with any questions or suggestions.
At York Centre Karate, we offer a variety of programs for all ages and skill levels, from traditional karate to Karate-based Sport Pankration/MMA. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential and achieve their fitness goals. We are proud to be a member of the Ontario Grappling Association, allowing us to offer a unique and exciting MMA program.
Throughout the year, we participate in various events and challenges, such as the 100 Kata Challenge for Karate Day. We also host summer camps and promotions to celebrate our students' achievements. Additionally, we have a close partnership with our sponsor, 8th Wish Hair Elite Salon and Spa, who supports our school and programs.

For rank testing, please bring your weapons as needed and don't forget your uniform and sparring gear.
The testing procedure is mandatory for everyone, and it is separate for Green Belts and aspiring green belts and also includes all ranks on a separate date.
Costs include $20 only for the first time for set of 4 patches for your uniform, and if you are promoted the mandatory items are a $25 testing fee (including our club certificate) plus $10 for a new color belt if your belt color changes.
