Yong Gi Do Martial Arts, led by the esteemed Kate Malyon, has built a strong presence in Braintree, Essex. Specialising in Tang Soo Do Korean Karate, this centre is dedicated to helping individuals reach their full potential through comprehensive martial arts training and life coaching.

Founded by Kate Malyon, who began her martial arts journey in Judo at just 4 years old and boasts over 40 years of experience, Yong Gi Do Martial Arts focuses on building confidence, self-esteem, and essential life skills. Kate's expertise extends beyond physical training, thanks to her background in talking therapies.

Tang Soo Do, the style practised here, blends ancient Korean martial arts with elements from various Chinese Kung Fu styles and Okinawan Karate. Yong Gi Do Martial Arts provides a unique and enriching experience for all participants.

Under Kate's guidance, the school has expanded to three locations and introduced Tang Soo Do to nearly every local school through after-school programmes. Her mission is clear: to change lives, one kick at a time, by infusing character development into martial arts training.
