Interested in Yoga classes? Tango Amistoso, the local Contemporary Dance club in London, offers classes designed to build strength, flexibility, and cultivate the mind-body connection. Whether you're a beginner or have previous Yoga experience, these classes cater to all levels.
Led by the experienced teacher Monique Ledesma, who specialises in Shadow Yoga and Nrtta Sadhana, or Winston Veerender, a certified Yoga teacher focusing on alignment principles, body awareness, and mindful movement, you'll be in expert hands during these sessions.
Classes take place every Wednesday from 6.15 to 7.15pm at Claremont Project, Upper Hall. Located at 24-27 White Lion St, Islington, London N1 9PD, the studio provides a welcoming and comfortable environment for your Yoga practice. Each class is priced at £15, except for Tango Amistoso Beginners who are not included in the subscription. Pre-booking is essential to secure your spot and ensure the availability of mats. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can bring your own mat.
Comfortable clothing for movement is recommended, as Yoga is done barefoot. Don't worry if you don't have a mat or other equipment – they will be provided for you. However, if you have a personal preference, feel free to bring your own mat.
In addition to regular classes, Tango Amistoso occasionally hosts special Yoga4Tango sessions. These unique sessions explore the connection between Yoga, Tango, and life in general. If you're intrigued by the idea, you can approach Winston after the class for more information.
To book your spot or for any additional queries, feel free to contact the organiser by phone. Remember, they're there to assist you and provide any further information you may need. So, don't hesitate to reach out and start your Yoga journey with Tango Amistoso!
