Registration is now open for the YES YOU CAN Triathlon 2024 event happening on June 8th, 2024 for NO MORE EXCUSES Fitness, the Fitness club based in Edmonton, Canada. This event is suitable for all fitness levels with a focus on inclusion. While registrations for the triathlon are full, volunteers are still needed. Participants can choose between the Sprint Triathlon or Try-a-Triathlon with modifications to ensure everyone can cross the finish line. The swim portion will take place at the University of Alberta West Pool, while the Bike and the Run/Walk will be around the River Valley, Government House Park, and McKinnon Ravine.
The registration fee is $150 for NO MORE EXCUSES Fitness members and participants are also encouraged to make a donation to the Edmonton Food Bank. There is a family rate available where additional household family members can register for $125 each. Registered participants will receive a Transition Bag, Medal, Fantastic Refreshments, and the chance to win Tons of Prizes.
Monthly workshops will be held to help participants improve their swim, bike, and run techniques, as well as provide guidance on triathlon nutrition and pre-event preparations.
