Welcome to Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, the prestigious club in Porto Cervo! Established in 1967 by President S.A. Aga Khan, our club is renowned for hosting international regattas for superyachts, maxi yachts, and one-design boats. Throughout the summer season, we organize thrilling races and provide our members, their guests, and boat owners with top-notch services at our Porto Cervo facility.
At Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, we take pride in our rich history of promoting international challenges, including Azzurra, the first Italian boat to compete in the America's Cup in 1983. Our legacy continues with initiatives like the 1992 launch of the motor yacht Destriero, still holding the record for the fastest Atlantic crossing achieved that year. In 2017, we celebrated our fiftieth anniversary by launching the One Ocean Foundation, an environmental project dedicated to marine conservation.
