Brendan himself has participated in numerous endurance-based events, such as Coast to Coast Scotland, Hurtwood 50k, and the Centurion 50 mile, as well as more recent events like the London ultra duathlon and the Wendover Woods 50k night run. He offers advice and support to anyone interested in similar events.
As a Level 3 CIMSPA certified personal trainer, Brendan specialises in various training techniques, including Kettlebell training, TRX, boxing, circuit training, padwork, jump rope (skipping), high-intensity interval training (HIIT), endurance training, strength and conditioning, boot camps, and functional training.
Brendan's ultimate goal at XYST FITNESS is to help clients achieve their fitness goals, whether it's weight loss, increased fitness, or muscle building. He aims to change clients' views on healthy living so that it becomes ingrained in their lifestyle. Brendan believes that by practising healthy habits, individuals can obtain a healthy lifestyle overall.
XYST FITNESS offers both individual and group training sessions. Individual sessions are tailored to each client's specific needs and are priced at 30 per session. These sessions provide dedicated attention to the client with no interruptions. Brendan designs the sessions to be fun but challenging, allowing clients to feel a sense of accomplishment at the end.
Group sessions are available at 10 per session and are held on Saturdays at 9:30 am. These sessions provide an opportunity to meet like-minded people and foster a competitive spirit. Studies have shown that people tend to push themselves harder when in a group setting, making these sessions ideal for those who enjoy meeting new people and thrive in a competitive environment.
In addition to in-person training, XYST FITNESS also offers remote training services. Clients can benefit from personalised training plans and guidance from Brendan, even from a distance.
