Perfect for the budding F1 stars of the future!! Xtreme Karting Falkirk's Junior race school is the ideal way for young drivers between the ages of 8 and 13 to learn the essentials of kart racing and improve their performance. Youngsters who successfully complete two separate race school sessions will be eligible to participate in our standard Race Experience Sessions at both our Falkirk and Edinburgh centres. They may even have the opportunity to join our Senior sessions, once they gain enough confidence on the track.
During the race school sessions, our dedicated instructors place great emphasis on safety while teaching the participants important skills such as racing lines, overtaking techniques, and braking/cornering. We provide extensive coaching to ensure each junior driver gains a solid foundation in kart racing. The sessions themselves consist of an introductory 7-minute session to warm up, followed by a longer 10-minute session on the track to really put their new skills to the test.
As a reward for their hard work and dedication, drivers who successfully complete two Race School Sessions will be awarded with a Xtreme Karting Training Certificate. However, we do have some requirements for our junior drivers. They must be at least 4 ft 2 inches tall and able to operate the pedals satisfactorily. If your child appears younger than their age, we kindly request that you bring identification such as a passport or birth certificate. Alternatively, feel free to contact us if you have any concerns about the height requirement.
