Welcome to Xiong Mao Wing Chun Academy, a renowned Kung fu school located in North Lakes, Australia. Established in 2010, our primary aim is to teach traditional Wing Chun Kung fu, following the teachings of grand master Yip Man and his student grand master Chu Shong Tin. With over 35 years of fulltime experience in the Art, our instructors at Xiong Mao have a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for the discipline.

For individuals who prefer a focused 1:1 training approach, we provide private lessons. Our experienced instructors will tailor the lessons to suit your specific goals and abilities, ensuring maximum progress and growth.
If you have a group of friends who are interested in training together, our small group sessions are the ideal option. Training with friends not only keeps you accountable but also enables us to customise the classes according to the group's desired outcomes.

- Dave Somers Instructor: Dave is a Chinese Medicine practitioner and retired bodyguard. He discovered Wing Chun after exploring various other styles and systems of martial arts. He has been training in this family since 2007 and is passionate about holistic health and helping others develop wellness.
- Regan Williams Instructor: Regan started his martial arts training at the age of 7. Furthermore, he has trained in Wing Chun since 2000 in Hong Kong under Grand Master Chu Shong Tin and in Australia under Master Jim Fung.
