Wyre Forest Swimming Club (WFSC), led by the passionate team at Kidderminster, is an affiliate of Swim England and a registered charity (1128317). Chris and the team are committed to helping swimmers of all levels achieve their goals in the sport.
WFSC welcomes swimmers from age 4, offering a Learn to Swim programme that aligns with the Swim England framework. This programme guides swimmers through seven stages, starting with basic skills and progressing to advanced levels. Both group and individual lessons are available to fit all swimmers' needs.
The club's experienced teachers and aquatic helpers focus on teaching the fundamental skills of swimming, fostering a lifelong love for the sport. Lessons are held at King Charles School from Monday to Wednesday and at Holy Trinity School on Saturdays, with a maximum of six children per teacher to ensure personalised attention. Classes cost £34 per month, including all equipment, swimming hats, and certificates.
WFSC also offers competitive squads for those looking to advance further in swimming. As a SwimMark accredited club, WFSC adheres to the highest standards of governance, sustainability, and effectiveness.
