Wutan - The Home of Martial Arts is a renowned martial arts school located in Nottingham, specialising in Tai Chi, Kung Fu, and Kickboxing. Established in the UK since 1977, Wutan has become the country's biggest traditional martial arts school, offering comprehensive training programmes for all skill levels.

The school takes pride in its rich history and lineage, tracing back to Grand Master Liu Yun Qiao, who founded the Wutan school and passed down his skills to twelve disciples, including Master Wu Song Fa. These disciples, who were already highly skilled martial artists, brought their knowledge and students to Wutan, allowing the teachings to flourish and spread worldwide.

Led by the founder of Wutan UK, They Soon Tuan, the school aims to provide authentic traditional Chinese martial arts training to combat the misrepresentation that existed in the UK during the Bruce Lee fever. Sifu They, as he is affectionately known, started teaching various traditional Kung Fu styles and Tai Chi Chuan under the name of Lucky Crane Tai Chi School. His dedication and expertise earned the respect of many instructors teaching different forms of Chinese martial arts.

In 1986, Grand Master Liu Yun Qiao officially granted the school permission to use the name Wutan, symbolising its affiliation with the original Wutan school. Since then, Wutan - The Home of Martial Arts has continued to uphold the traditions and values of Wutan, providing students with the opportunity to learn and train in authentic Chinese martial arts.
