Welcome to Worthing Hockey Club! Located in Littlehampton, we are a thriving and inclusive hockey club that prides itself on making hockey fun, friendly, and inclusive for all. With a rich history and a dedicated team of players and coaches, we provide opportunities for both competitive and recreational hockey for players of all ages and abilities.
At Worthing Hockey Club, we believe in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the sport. Whether you are a seasoned player looking for a new challenge or a complete beginner wanting to try out hockey, we have a place for you. Our teams cater to both men and women, with dedicated training sessions and matches throughout the week.
Our mens' training takes place on Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm, and our Boys Wolves U16 team trains from 6pm to 7. 30pm. For ladies and U16 girls, training sessions are held on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm. Our Comets Boys & Girls U12 team practises on Sunday mornings from 11am to 1pm.
All teams have matches on weekends, so there is plenty of opportunity to get involved and compete.
We are proud members of the South East Hockey League and have teams competing in various divisions. Our Mens 1s team competes in Division 1 West, while our other mens' teams participate in the Martlets leagues. On the ladies' side, we have teams competing in Martlets league 1 and 3 respectively. Worthing Hockey Club is more than just a sports club. We host various social events and themed parties throughout the year to bring our hockey family together. For example, we have our 'J' theme party coming up, where participants can dress up in costumes starting with the letter 'J' to celebrate January. It's always a great opportunity to socialise and have fun.
In addition to our on-field activities, we also have a club shop where you can purchase all the essential home and away game apparel, as well as before and after-match attire.
