The Worleston Table Tennis Group, a lawn bowls club based in Nantwich, invites players of all ages and abilities to join their friendly and welcoming community. Founded in October 2015, this group has consistently attracted new members throughout the years.
Additionally, the Worleston Woodpeckers, a local table tennis club and home to the Worleston Woodpecker's league team, is also seeking new members. With three years of existence, this club holds its sessions every Thursday evening at the Worleston Village Hall. They have a diverse range of players, spanning from 7 to 70 years old, and encompassing both beginners and league-standard players. Regardless of your skill level, the club offers a fun and inviting atmosphere for playing games or engaging in doubles matches. All the necessary equipment will be provided.
Notably, the club has experienced commendable success in the Crewe Table Tennis league over the past two years. They were runners-up in their first year and claimed the division three champions title this year. The sessions take place at Worleston Village Hall, a modern facility that boasts air-conditioning and ample free parking. You will find up to five tables available for use, and to enhance your experience, refreshments and nibbles are included in the £4.50 session price.
Whether you're seeking exercise, good company, the opportunity to make new friends, or a mix of non-competitive and league-standard competition, the Worleston Table Tennis Group is the perfect place for you. Current players have testified to the warm welcome and enjoyable experience they have had. For more information, please reach out to Louise at 01270 623364 or via email.
