Technician. Despite our busy schedules, we are committed to providing fun and friendly swing dance classes in Worcester.

At Worcester Swing Dance, we offer weekly Sunday classes at the Nunnery Wood High School. Our classes are designed to be fun, informal, and welcoming for dancers of all levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience in dancing, we have a spot for you in our vibrant community.

Lindy Hop, also known as swing dance, is an energetic and stylish dance form that is guaranteed to be lots of fun. Despite its impressive appearance, Lindy Hop is actually easier to learn than it seems, making it a perfect choice for those looking to keep fit and have a great time on the dance floor.

No prior dancing experience is required to join our classes, and there's no need to worry if you think you have two left feet. We have successfully taught hundreds of people just like you, and our aim is to provide you with the basics needed for a strong foundation in Lindy Hop in a fun and relaxed environment.

Our classes start from absolute beginner level and progress to intermediate/advanced as you improve your skills. We encourage you to start at the beginning of the term to get the most out of your dance journey. To secure your spot in our beginner's class, please contact us to pre-book.

The next beginner term begins on Sunday, 14th January. The cost is 6 per class, and we recommend wearing comfortable non-marking soled flat shoes or trainers for the classes. The doors open at 5:15 pm, and the schedule is as follows: beginner class at 5:30 pm, improver class at 6:30 pm, and intermediate class at 7:30 pm.

At Worcester Swing Dance, we are passionate about Lindy Hop and strive to provide an inclusive and supportive environment for all dancers. Our instructors, Isabel and Colin, have extensive experience in Lindy Hop, with Isabel dancing for 17 years and teaching for 15 years, and Colin dancing for 9 years and teaching for 7 years. We are also experienced professionals in our respective fields outside of dancing, ensuring that you receive high-quality instruction from dedicated professionals.
