Woodspring Golf & Country Club is excited to announce an upcoming local golf event that is sure to be a hit with golf enthusiasts in Bristol. This event is open to all interested players, whether they are members of our club or not.
For those looking to improve their swing and get some practice in, our WoodSpring Driving Range is the perfect place to start. The driving range features spacious bays with quality mats and range balls, ensuring that players have everything they need to enhance their skills. Open seven days a week, both members and non-members are welcome to come and enjoy the range. Tokens for the driving range can be purchased from our Pro shop. Please note that children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
It's important to be aware that our driving range's opening hours vary, so we recommend calling ahead at 01275 394378 to confirm. The facility's main gates are locked at dusk, and the last ball times change throughout the year. In the winter, the last ball times may be around 3.30 pm, while in the summer, it can be as late as 8.30 pm. Keep in mind that due to unpredictable weather conditions, it's always a good idea to call and double-check if the facility is open before you make your way here. The price for 50 balls is £5.00.

Headed by our resident PGA Professional Kevin Pitts and Coach Matt Shapcott, the academy provides expert advice and personalised tuition sessions that are tailored to help you improve your golf skills. Our academy offers full facilities, including Putting & Chipping greens, Short game areas, a Covered driving range, and a 27-hole golf course. With these resources at your disposal, you can work on all aspects of your game and become the golfer you've always aspired to be.
Lesson prices at the Woodspring Golf Academy start at £30 for a 30-minute session, and £40 for a 50-minute session, which includes additional feedback and a lesson summary video upload. We also offer group lessons, on-course lessons, and game improvement packages upon request. These game improvement packages are specifically designed to help you reach your golfing goals and aspirations. They provide structured learning, technical improvement methods, and the ability to track your progress along the way.
To make your learning experience even better, our lessons include video analysis and a lesson summary video upload. You'll also have the opportunity for on-course practice (green fee may apply) to apply what you've learned in a real-world setting.
