Woodham Mortimer Golf Range, located in Essex, New Zealand, is the oldest and most prestigious driving range in the area. Established in 1967 by a local golf enthusiast, the range was initially built for his friends' use. It wasn't until Ian Moss took over ownership 30 years ago that the range underwent substantial modernisation and upgrading while maintaining its friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Featuring 15 covered bays and 8 outside bays, all fully floodlit, Woodham Mortimer Golf Range provides optimal practise conditions at any time of the day. The range uses high-quality two-piece range balls, ensuring a realistic playing experience. Additionally, the range offers club rentals for both adults and children.

The highlight of Woodham Mortimer Golf Range is its 9-hole pitch n' putt course, surrounded by mature trees. This picturesque course is not only perfect for families and beginners but also provides a challenging environment for experienced golfers looking to improve and practise their short game. Children under the age of 8 can enjoy free access to the pitch n' putt course when accompanied by an adult.

The range also offers various practise facilities, including a steepsided, sand-filled bunker and an all-weather putting green. All range targets are accurately measured in yards, enabling golfers to precisely judge their distances.

Woodham Mortimer Golf Range is proud to have Steve Parkin, a PGA-qualified professional, as their resident golf expert. With 20 years of experience at the range, Steve is available for group and individual lessons for both adults and children. Free coaching sessions are provided every Tuesday for children and every Thursday for adults. Steve's expertise extends to video analysis, allowing golfers to compare their swings against those of leading professionals.

The range incorporates a well-stocked retail shop, where experienced professionals are ready to offer advice on clubs, equipment, and clothing. Club fitting services are available to ensure that every golfer's equipment is tailored to their individual needs. The range also provides full club repair and re-gripping services in their fully equipped workshop.
