Woodford Park Skatepark, located in Woodley, Reading, was built by Wheelscape and opened its doors to skaters in 2011. This skatepark offers a simple yet well-designed layout, perfect for skateboarders wanting to practise their skills.
Primarily street-focused, Woodford Park Skatepark features a range of obstacles and transitions. On one side of the park, you'll find a flat bank with a small extension. Opposite to this is a small quarter pipe with a vert extension. In between these two ends is a plaza-style street section, complete with a stair set, staggered ledges, a hubba, and a flat bank.
Alongside this street section, you'll also find an up and down rail. It's an ideal spot for skaters looking to improve their basics or enjoy a game of skate with friends.

If arriving at Earley train station, simply exit the station and cross the main road using the pedestrian bridge. On the other side, take the footpath on your left and follow it until it comes out onto Kingfisher Drive. Follow this road until it joins onto Fairwater Drive, then turn left onto Woodlands Avenue at the roundabout. Continue on Woodlands Avenue until Lytham Road appears on your left.
Take this road until it meets Headley Road, then turn right and follow it until you spot Woodford Park on your left.
If arriving at the Chequers bus stop, exit the bus onto Headley Road and head east until you see Woodford Park on your left.
Although there are no on-site toilets, there are free-to-use facilities nearby.
