The Pilates club understands that many women may have fallen out of the gym or other training programs due to various reasons such as bladder leakage, prolapse, back or joint pains, surgery, feeling 'out of place,' or not prioritising their own needs within their family unit. However, Be In Blossom is here to address these needs and offer a service tailored to this population.
The 8-week class-blocks at Be In Blossom incorporate a total body workout designed for the wellbeing of women. It is suitable for all women, including those with pelvic floor weakness, rehabilitation after gynecological surgery, post-menopausal women, those with joint pain, abdominal muscle separation (diastasis), and ladies wanting to build their core strength before having a baby. Private health rebates may apply, and the classes are invoiced as Physiotherapy Class Consults (code 561).
Clients who wish to claim a rebate through their private health insurance are required to have a 30-minute individual assessment appointment at Be In Blossom. This appointment is also recommended for those with more complex health conditions. The assessment is valid for 12 months, so it only needs to be done once within a 12-month period. During the assessment, our professionals closely examine your posture, breathing, abdominal wall, flexibility, balance, and specific exercises that will be focused on during the classes. This helps us structure the class to meet your individual needs.
The courses run for 8 weeks within the school terms, and the commencement dates can be found on the booking system at Be In Blossom. In case you miss a session, we offer makeup classes for up to two missed sessions. However, it is essential to book in advance to secure your spot as availability may be limited.
