
Frankston Football Club has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Coach to join their Women's Program in the South Eastern Women’s Football League (SEWFL). The club is looking for someone who is passionate about Australian Rules Football and has a strong desire to develop and coach players in the program.
Working closely with the senior coach and the Women’s Football Manager, the assistant coach will play a vital role in preparing training plans, managing a specific line on match day, and maintaining the highest coaching standards. They will also collaborate with other key staff members to provide specialist coaching services, aiming to improve and develop the women's football program.
Creating a positive team environment and ensuring player wellbeing is another key aspect of the assistant coach's role. They will motivate and inspire squad members, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie within the team. The assistant coach will also be involved in the selection committee and provide valuable feedback on player performance.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that is focused on achieving success in the highly competitive SEWFL competition. The successful candidate will be required to attend preseason and training sessions, as well as coaching/support staff meetings and club activities.
To be considered for this role, knowledge and skills in player development, strong planning and communication skills, and relevant coaching accreditation are essential. Previous coaching experience or elite football playing experience would be highly regarded. Additionally, it is desirable for applicants to hold an Australian driver's license.
