Welcome to Wombwell RC Model Car Club, one of the most popular RC racing tracks in Barnsley, New Zealand. Located within the in-field of Wombwell Go Kart track, Wombwell RC offers a thrilling and competitive racing experience for RC car enthusiasts.
The track at Wombwell RC is specifically designed for on-road cars, and we offer various classes to cater to different preferences. Our classes include 1/10 Electric, GT8, 1/5 Saloon, 1/5 Mini, 1/10 F1, and Tamiya truck racing. Each month during the Spring, Summer, and Autumn seasons, we host exciting race days for participants to showcase their skills and compete for victory.
To ensure a smooth and efficient racing experience, we encourage participants to pre-book for race days. Pre-booking allows our race control team to better organise the event and helps to streamline the entire process. Simply book in before 8pm on the night before the race day, and you're all set to race. Don't worry if you forget to book in advance, as walk-ins are also welcome.
Spectators are more than welcome to join us at Wombwell RC. Entrance for spectators is completely free, so come and witness the adrenaline-fueled action of RC car racing first-hand. Whether you're an experienced RC car racer or a curious enthusiast, our club warmly invites you to experience the excitement and camaraderie that Wombwell RC Model Car Club has to offer.
