Membership to the Australian Kart Racers Alliance is also available to drivers who have graduated from the Karting School. This elite racing group offers monthly race meetings, where drivers can either hire one of the race-prepared karts or use their own. When visiting Wollongong Kart Raceway, it's important to note that wearing a balaclava is mandatory. Balaclavas can be purchased for $5 at the time of booking or registration. Additionally, all customers must become a member of Wollongong Karts, which requires a payment of $10 per annum and the completion of an Indemnity Form.

When making bookings, it's recommended to book in advance. Walk-ins or phone bookings without payment upfront may experience delays or be pushed back based on demand on the day. However, in busy periods such as weekends, public holidays, school holidays, and pre-Xmas, a paid booking is required to allocate a time slot and prioritise your group.

Wollongong Kart Raceway is committed to safety and strict rules are in place to ensure the well-being of all participants. Consumption of alcohol before or during kart hire is strictly forbidden and can result in on-the-spot cancellation of your purchase, cancellation of your annual licence, and a track ban.
