Welcome to Wokingham Shotokan Karate Academy, a renowned physical fitness programme located in Wokingham, New Zealand. With students ranging from beginners to black belts, our academy offers classes that are not only practical but also enjoyable. As part of the Shotokan Karate Association (S. S. K. A.
), one of the largest and non-political associations in our region, we are committed to teaching traditional Shotokan Karate to anyone who is eager to learn, regardless of age or disability. Our instructors are fully qualified and capable of teaching all aspects of Shotokan Karate. We also often invite guest instructors from other disciplines, such as judo or ju-jitsu, adding diversity and depth to our training sessions.
At Wokingham Shotokan Karate Academy, we strongly believe that karate is for everyone. We work in association with IKKAIDO to provide tailored sessions for children and young adults with autism, ensuring that our programme is accessible to individuals of all abilities. Family participation is highly encouraged, and we strive to foster a welcoming and supportive community.
