Alex wants to welcome you to Withington Golf Club, a mature parkland course in Manchester. With a focus on course excellence, the fairways and greens are maintained to a high standard, ensuring an enjoyable golfing experience for all.

If you’re considering joining, there are some great offers currently available for new members. Though the golf year runs from 1st May to 30th April, you can start playing immediately if you join now and enjoy some extra months of golf for free. There are various membership options, including a special offer for 6-day membership. However, spaces in each category are limited, so it's best to apply soon to secure your spot.

There’s no joining fee, and membership fees can be paid monthly if you prefer. For those interested, Withington offers 7-day memberships. For members aged 35 and over, the cost is £999. For ages 28-34, it’s £749, and for ages 25-27, the cost is £549. Other new 7-day memberships are available at standard rates. For more details, feel free to contact the office by phone or email.

For golfers who prefer not to play on Saturdays, there’s a special 6-day membership available from Sunday to Friday for £800. Note that all categories include an England Golf Affiliation Fee and Insurance totalling £18.75, and all adult categories have a small bar prepayment of 3% of the subscription fee. Direct debits incur an admin fee. Lockers and electric trolley charging points are available for an additional annual fee, subject to availability.

As a member, you can also enjoy courtesy golf at partner clubs, including Eastham Lodge GC (5 days), Marple GC (6 days), and Clays GC (7 days). These partnerships mean you can play these courses free of charge throughout the year, adding extra value to your membership.

Alex has ensured there's buddy support for new members to help them obtain their handicap and start playing competitive golf. The club is known for its friendly atmosphere, and all golfers, regardless of skill level, are warmly welcomed.

Membership at Withington Golf Club offers more than just pay-and-play. You can participate in competitions, hold a handicap and enjoy courtesy golf at partner clubs. Members have full access to the course, facilities, and practice areas. Plus, you get a 15% discount at the bar, and your guests can play at reduced fees, making it a great time to invite friends along.

Additionally, members can play on many Cheshire courses at discounted rates using the County Cheshire Card.

Alex prioritises continuous improvement, with substantial investments in new ponds, ditches, and drainage to ensure the course remains in top condition. The clubhouse is inviting, with excellent catering and bar services at discounted prices for members.
