About
Ready to dive into Aikido? Look no further than the Winnipeg Aikikai Aikido Club! Back in action since 1982, the club started with Bernard Viau at the University of Winnipeg. Thanks to Tom Czyczko, who trained at the prestigious Hombu Dojo in Tokyo and brought the expertise back, the club reached new heights.
Now under the watchful eye of Warren, who took over in 2012 with a 4th-degree black belt, the club continues to thrive. Warren, also a Hombu Dojo veteran, shares his wealth of knowledge with the next generation of Aikido enthusiasts.
Located at Corydon Community Centre, you can catch classes on Tuesday evenings in the main floor gym. As the sole Manitoba member of the Canadian Aikido Federation, they stay true to the traditional teachings from Tokyo's Hombu Dojo.
Interested in taking your first step into Aikido? Join the Winnipeg Aikikai Aikido Club for a supportive community and top-notch instruction! Reach out and get started on your martial arts adventure.
