At the Welsh Harp Sailing & Windsurfing Club (WHSC) in London, windsurfing enthusiasts can enjoy an array of fantastic benefits. Membership grants access to our top-notch Clubhouse facilities, where you can unwind after an exhilarating day on the water.
Every Thursday evening, we hold Training sessions led by our friendly team of volunteer member RYA instructors and helpers. These sessions are designed to help members reach a suitable standard and ultimately become Checked Out. This ensures that all windsurfing members have the opportunity to enjoy a sociable evening of windsurfing while being reassured by our safety cover. And after an exhilarating session on the water, join us for a delicious and reasonably priced home-cooked meal and refreshing drinks at our Bar.
Once you've successfully completed the Check-Out process, you'll have the freedom to make use of our stunning waters at your convenience. Most days of the year, you can grab your gear and head out for a windsurfing adventure. To make planning hassle-free, we've set up a WhatsApp group where members can arrange convenient times to catch some waves with other windsurfing enthusiasts.
In addition to these exciting opportunities, we also offer RYA courses and clinics at an additional cost. These courses are typically scheduled on weekends, and availability is subject to demand and instructor availability. So if you're looking to enhance your skills or learn something new, keep an eye out for these fantastic opportunities.
For the younger windsurfing enthusiasts, we have a special offer for Junior Windsurfing Members. With the discretion of a Senior Instructor, juniors under 16 years old, who already have windsurfing experience, may be considered for membership. While our primary focus at WHSC is windsurfing, we understand that there are windsurfers who are also competent wingfoilers. That's why we currently have an ongoing trial where Checked Out experienced windsurfers with wingfoiling skills can utilise their own equipment (subject to 3rd party insurance).
