Nestled at the top of Hard Lane, Windle, on the north side of St. Helens, Windle Bowling Club is a members-only club run by its members, for its members. It provides a welcoming atmosphere for sporting and social events throughout the year.
At Windle Bowling Club, players of all levels are invited to participate. Dave welcomes seasoned bowlers and those new to the game. While the main focus is bowling, many social events are also on offer. Whether you’re up for a friendly game or just want to relax with a drink, there’s something for everyone.
Membership is open to everyone, including ladies. Dave encourages both individuals and teams to join and become part of the vibrant community. The aim is to create a supportive environment where members can enjoy bowling and develop new friendships.
Members gain access to well-maintained bowling greens, perfect for honing skills and friendly competitions. Beginners can benefit from coaching sessions, so there’s no need to worry if you’re new to the sport.
The clubhouse at Windle Bowling Club is a comfortable space to relax and socialise. With a well-stocked bar and regular social events, including quiz nights and live entertainment, there’s always something happening.
Visitors and guests are welcome. If you need a venue for a social or sporting event, Windle Bowling Club offers flexible facilities for hire. Friendly staff are on hand to assist with planning and ensure your event runs smoothly.
