In 2012, Winchmore Hill Cricket Club accomplished a significant milestone by becoming Middlesex County Cricket League Champions for the first time. This plan has been formulated in collaboration with the Middlesex Cricket Board (MCB) Cricket Development Officer and aligns with the mission statement of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for clubs.

Originally an Officer's Mess from a wartime army camp in Wimbledon, the pavilion was primarily funded through generous donations and loans from the club's President and members. Throughout the years, the club has seen notable players grace its field, including the West Indies batsman Allan Rae, who achieved remarkable accomplishments for both Winchmore Hill CC and the West Indies team.
In 2013, Winchmore Hill Cricket Club became a part of Winchmore Hill Sports Club, recognising the club's multi-sport nature. Apart from cricket, various other sports are played at The Paulin Ground, including football, tennis, hockey, and table tennis.
