Willinghurst Fishery

Established in 2015 and located in Guildford, Willinghurst Fisheries is a fishing club set in the beautiful Surrey countryside. With 11 well-stocked lakes, including two specimen lakes called Christmas Tree and Main Lake, anglers of all ages and skill levels are provided with an ideal venue to unwind and enjoy a day of fishing.

The lakes at Willinghurst Fisheries are home to a variety of fish species, including carp, roach, rudd, and tench. Competitions are regularly held throughout the year, catering to both match and pleasure anglers. The club takes pride in maintaining and managing the lakes to ensure they are well-stocked and provide a relaxed and peaceful environment for anglers.

Spread over a 650-acre estate, Willinghurst Fisheries offers several access roads that lead to different lakes, allowing anglers to choose their preferred fishing spot. The club boasts a dedicated café on-site, serving breakfast for early starters and delicious food throughout the day to keep anglers fueled. Many regulars at the club come specifically for the carp fishing, with the possibility of reeling in impressive catches weighing up to 30lb.

Willinghurst Fisheries has gained a strong following, with some dedicated anglers travelling long distances, including from the north of England, to spend a weekend fishing at the club. The exceptional fishing experience, coupled with the tranquil setting and well-managed lakes, makes Willinghurst Fisheries a preferred choice for avid anglers.

In addition to fishing, Willinghurst Fisheries also operates a café and bait shop run by Sue. The café offers a variety of food options, including all-day breakfast, burgers, chips, sandwiches, and hot and cold drinks. The bait shop stocks a range of fishing essentials, such as ground bait, goilies, pellets, hooks, hair rigs, landing nets, and poles.

The opening times of the Lakeside Café & Bait Shop may vary depending on the time of year, but it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The shop provides convenient access to fishing gear and supplies, ensuring anglers have everything they need for a successful day on the lakes.
