Karate classes here are open to students aged 3 and above. John and his team are particularly accommodating to individuals with additional learning needs. All instructors are DBS checked, first aid trained, and knowledgeable in providing mental health support within sport. The venue is also fully accessible.
For a dynamic experience, consider joining the kickboxing classes, which aim to enhance skills, techniques, and confidence while incorporating fitness training. More information about kickboxing is available upon request.
John Williams is also proud to offer specialised programmes for individuals with Parkinson's disease and dementia. The Parkinson's Boxing programme tailors non-contact boxing fitness to suit various fitness levels. Similarly, Dementia Boxing classes are designed specifically for those living with dementia. Caregivers can participate for free.
The ethos “martial arts for all” is central to everything done at Williams Martial Arts. Beyond karate and kickboxing, the club hosts Ninja parties and free youth programmes during school holidays. They work closely with local authorities to serve the community.
