Wigan St Patricks Amateur Rugby League Club, based in Wigan, is widely recognised as one of the most famous amateur rugby league clubs globally. Established in 1910, the club has been committed to offering quality rugby league experiences to the local community, both on and off the field.
Wendy, the organiser, wants everyone to know that Wigan St Patricks currently boasts 16 teams catering to different age groups and genders. They have opportunities for Cubs (children aged 4 and above), Juniors, Ladies, and Men. The Men’s teams compete in the NCL Premier Division and the NWML, while the Ladies team is part of the Women’s League and also competes in the Winter League. All junior teams participate in the NWC Junior Leagues.
The club prides itself on its dedicated volunteer coaches who work hard to help every player reach their potential. The junior section emphasises fun, enjoyment, and developing lifelong friendships while welcoming all who want to get involved in the rugby league.
