Whynot Dance Company is a popular dance school located in Dublin, offering a range of classes in Jazz, Modern, Ballet, and other genres. Established in 2008 by Artistic Director Lisa Tyrrell, the school boasts a team of talented male and female dancers who perform in various styles.
Classes at Whynot Dance Company cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced dancers. Drop-in classes are available for 16 (non-refundable), or students can purchase a 6-class pass card for 90 (also non-refundable). The class cards do not have to be used consecutively and expire at the end of December 2024. Pre-booking is essential for all classes.
The school's weekly schedule includes Jazz classes on Tuesdays at 6:15 pm for Improvers/Intermediate level, followed by Ballet classes at 7:30 pm. Classes take place at Dance House on Foley St. in Dublin 1. Throughout the year, Whynot Dance Company also offers workshops in a variety of dance styles, including Contemporary, Urban Contemporary, Salsa, and more.
