Being a part of the Western Australian Suburban Turf Cricket Association (WASTCA), one of the oldest cricket associations in Australia, the club offers an excellent opportunity for players to participate in Saturday cricket on both turf and astro-turf wickets.
In the 2023/24 season, the club has three teams playing a combination of 2-Day and 1-Day cricket, along with another three teams exclusively participating in 1-Day matches. The club takes pride in its men's cricket and strives to provide a competitive and enjoyable experience for all its players.
Additionally, the club has re-introduced a women's side in the 2021/22 season. Matches are held on Sundays on astro-turf against other PSWL-aligned clubs in Perth. The club values inclusivity and diversity, and is committed to providing women with a platform to excel in cricket.
For players under the age of 21 who are transitioning from junior to senior cricket, Whitfords & District Senior Cricket Club offers opportunities to participate in Sunday 20-Over cricket, organised by WASTCA. Additionally, older junior players have the chance to play Saturday cricket in the WASTCA competition, based on age restrictions. The club is dedicated to nurturing young talent and providing a pathway for their development.
Whitfords & District Senior Cricket Club greatly appreciates the support of its community sponsors, as community sport relies on local businesses. The club encourages everyone to support these sponsors whenever possible, as they play a crucial role in the club's sustainability.
The club also hosts various social events throughout the year, which can be found on their Facebook page. These events provide an opportunity for players, supporters, and members of the community to come together and celebrate the spirit of cricket.
